Platinum Games’ Scalebound has been delayed into 2017

Trumpeting in one of the worst bits of news this year, Platinum Games has announced that Scalebound is no longer going to make its target of 2016. Development is apparently “going well,” but the studio notes that this is one of the “biggest games” it has ever created, and as such it’ll need more time.

Platinum has always taken its time with original projects, and the quality really shows. Also, the fact that it seemingly has a TMNT game on its hands complicates things even further, I’m sure.
