Watch Nintendo’s ‘The Making of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’

Beat it first

Recommended Videos

Most of you Zelda fans are probably still faking sick at work since you took off to play Breath of the Wild last week. Now watch Nintendo’s three-part documentary on how they made the game, featuring developers such as Eiji Aonuma. The three parts are “The Beginning,” “Story and Characters,” and “Open-Air Concept,” the last of which sounds weird in English to me; how does it come off to you guys?

These videos will remain on my “Watch Later” list until I complete the game. Though who knows how much it can spoil when the mainstream game media has already plastered in headlines and images everything you could possibly discover in this adventure game focused on exploration and discovery? Since I respect those of you who haven’t played the game yet, I won’t mention any specifics in case you haven’t been exposed yet.
