Dying Light‘s next expansion, The Following, will release in Q1 2016.

Producer Tymon Smetakla announced the news via a “special video”.

“So since Gamescom 2015, we revealed quite a bit about our upcoming expansion: the vast countryside map, the customizable dirt buggy, a new story and more,” said Smetakla.

“What we couldn’t say before though, was the release date. Today we finally know that Dying Light: The Following will launch within the first three months of 2016. This gives us enough time to put in all the content and surprises we have planned for you guys.”

Techland promise to share the exact release date of Dying Light: The Following – which will be available for $15 (and free to Season Pass holders) – “as soon as [they] get a final decision.”

“Dying Light often boils down to “Zombies: The Videogame,” we said in our review, “but it’s fun to flip around like a ninja and cause havoc while you shuffle from one mission to the next. For many of you out there, that’s basically all you’ll need.”
