Harvard University gets ‘Master Chief-rolled’

Those silly/nerdy pranksters from MIT hopped over the fence to neighboring Harvard University to play a Halo 3-themed prank in celebration of the Xbox 360 game’s release.

Harvard Yard’s famous statue of school founder John Harvard got a makeover when MIT students outfitted the statue to look like a Spartan warrior. Doesn’t he look familiar?

MIT’s paper, The Tech, says “The back of the helmet, which is worn by the protagonist of the game, Master Chief, was labeled with “Master Chief in Training.” The statue was decorated with an assault rifle (bullet count of 2E), as well as a Beaver emblem on the right shoulder.”
