Tatsumi Kimishima has been named the new president of Nintendo, the company just announced.

Kimishima will succeed the late Satoru Iwata, becoming the fifth president in the company’s long history. Since Iwata’s passing in July, Shigeru Miyamoto and Genyo Takeda, one of the Wii’s lead designers and the co-creator of Punch Out!!, have jointly overseen the company on an interim basis.

Kimishima will officially take on his new roles on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.
