Wednesday will see the release of two Live Arcade puzzlers, Switchball and Word Puzzle. Each game will set you back by 800 Microsoft Points, should you deem them worthy of purchase.
Switchball is one of those “get from point A to point B” games in which you guide a ball through a series of unnecessarily complex mazes. It features some fancy visuals and 2-player co-op in addition to 8-player competitive racing.
Casual gamers and manly men rejoice, as Word Puzzle is right up your alley. It definitely reminds me of another popular word-finding game, but I’ve been informed that it “contains 95% less worms than the leading competition.” I’d be all for that if we were discussing dairy products, but I’m a firm believer that games about worms are pretty damn awesome.
