More Blizzard speculation following that job listing for an undisclosed Diablo project. Last month, the company filed a trademark for something called Compete in the United States. It’s an eSports thing, according to the USPTO summary of the service mark.

Compete is meant to “[provide] an online non-downloadable Internet-based system application featuring technology enabling users to organize and promote e-sports tournaments, to create and customize tournament brackets and ladders, track tournament progress, maintain related statistics, and post results.”

As a current Heroes of the Storm player and probable future Overwatch player, this is intriguing.
