John Wick getting a VR shooter

If you didn’t catch last year’s John Wick, it’s a pretty great flick, and a rare well-choreographed one (as far as American productions go). Its lead character has already crossed over into Starbreeze’s Payday 2 (above); the developer intends to “further integrate” Wick into the game. Aside from a follow up film (John Wickeder), the series is also getting a Starbreeze-published VR game.

The first-person shooter, developed by WEVR, is, “a stand-alone, first-person shooter game based on the world and characters of the John Wick films and centered around the infamous Continental Hotel.” I wish it’d let me save Lester.

It launches next spring for “most existing VR headsets.”
