Klei announces new expansion for Don’t Starve, ‘Shipwrecked’

Klei has announced the third expansion for Don’t Starve, following Reign of Giants and Together — Shipwrecked. It’s coming this fall, with new playable characters, areas, seasonal effects, and creatures, and is described as a “sea-bound journey.” All we have right now is a quick teaser with a shark chasing Wilson, who is paddling away on a boat.

If this follows the typical Klei schedule for Don’t Starve, it will likely come to PC first, followed by a console release. The Together expansion still doesn’t have a console date, much to my frustration.
