Not even StarCraft II is safe from Rocket League

Aqua League mod

I wasn’t kidding when I said that funny goal gif convinced me to download Rocket League. Psyonix’s driving/soccer game is brilliantly designed, and now I’m obsessed with it like the rest of you.

My infatuation even extends to things that resemble Rocket League. Take this in-development mod for StarCraft II, Aqua League, which “[combines] elements of soccer, bumper cars, and hockey.”

It doesn’t look nearly as fun, admittedly, but it’s impressive to see this type of experience up and running inside of a real-time strategy game. Modders for Blizzard games can work wonders.

It even has a similar goal effect!
