Multiple sources say a proper Final Fantasy VII remake is coming for PS4

If Sony reveals a real Final Fantasy VII remake tonight for the PS4, and not that “classic FFVII” troll release from last year, people will lose it. That might just happen, according to multiple sources.

This morning Siliconera leaked that the project was happening, and this afternoon, GamesBeat has stated that it will be announced later today — I am hearing that it will be developed by CyberConnect2. Allegedly, this project will feature Cloud’s newer look from Advent Children, and will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII.

If this is real, I will be in on day one like Sephiroth on Aeris (too soon?).
