If you’re going to be playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on a souped-up PC when it launches August 23, I have some bad news for you.

On Steam, The Deus Ex team has announced that DX12 will not be ready in time for launch. Last minute optimizations are being worked on, meaning that the API will be releasing on the week of September 5. I’m sure it’ll still look great until then. In the meantime, you may want to read up on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided‘s system requirements or Steven’s recent preview.
