Steep, Ubisoft’s 1000th open world game, due in December

Ubisoft is hit or miss with its open world games at this point. They’ve created a formula that so many other AAA developers follow, and haven’t really moved past it since they really cemented the style in 2007 with the original Assassin’s Creed.

But in many cases, I’m interested on paper, and that’s what Steep is doing for me as it scratches that SSX itch that’s been bothering me for so long. Thankfully it’ll be out this year on December 2, with an Ubisoft-size catch — it’ll have two editions in tow (standard and gold), as well as a Season Pass and pre-order bonuses.

As is customary, it is not discussed what the Season Pass entails.
