Rome: Total War is coming to iPad, and I think it can work

Creative Assembly’s classic strategy game Rome: Total War is coming to the iPad, compliments of Feral Interactive.

It’ll evidently be a port of the full game, with the entire campaign and 11 factions, coupled with a touch-screen interface, and “upgraded” visuals that might be even better than the original release. DLC is also in, including the Barbarian Invasion and Alexander packs. You just need an iPad Air or iPad Mini 2 or better to play it.

Like I always say, allowing the ability for older games to get a brand new audience is a great thing. It’s not quite as important as physical game preservation, but it’s the next best step.
