Monochroma will not be coming to a lot of originally planned platforms

From the Kickstarter campaign

Back in May 2014, Monochroma was released. It was another Kickstarter success story that proved that the model can work, despite the fact that it had a rather middling reception at launch. Well, it partially-worked, as the originally planned Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Wii U, and Ouya versions have been canceled as of this week. Instead, it will be released on Xbox One only for now, with a “small chance” of a release on PS4 if the sales on the former platform are positive.

Kickstarter is always a gamble, as I’m sure most of you know by now. When the project was funded in 2013 the team always noted that it “plans” to support consoles, but it was never a given. Still, it kind of stings for those of you who threw money at it hoping for a release on a Nintendo or Sony console.
