SuperHyperCube should be a solid PlayStation VR launch title

A sort of Tetris x Hole in the Wall

SuperHyperCube is one of those games that’s much more challenging than it looks. The basic puzzle concept is simple, but you have to be in the right mindset. You have to get in the zone.

You have a cube that’s flying towards a wall with a hole in it, and to keep the two from colliding, you need to turn it in such a way that it narrowly fits. Problem is, your cube gains mass every time it successfully passes through each wall, and before long it’s this misshapen monster. But since this is a virtual reality game, you can (and need to) peer around to get a sense of what the cube looks like at all angles and figure out how to rotate it to squeeze through the hole and keep the run going.

There are some other mechanical twists to SuperHyperCube, but that’s the general idea. It’s one of the better PlayStation VR titles I’ve gotten to play, and it’s one I’d recommend looking into further if you’re planning to get the headset at or around launch on October 13, 2016. It’ll be out that day.
