Ori has another homage to another great SMB

Paying tribute to The Brothers Mario

A few weeks back, we called attention to Ori and the Blind Forest giving a nod to a revered platformer: Super Meat Boy. Turns out that wasn’t the only great platformer (or even the only “SMB”) tucked away within the game.

Perhaps the most iconic platformer of all-time, Super Mario Bros., also got some recognition from Moon Studios. Underwater in the Sunken Glades, a recognizable green pipe is poking out of the background. All that’s missing is watching an Italian plumber disappear down it.
