Telltale’s Batman will deal heavily with Bruce Wayne’s ‘complex life’ and ‘fractured psyche’

Telltale has shared the first screens for their Batman game, and they remind me quite a bit of their foray into Borderlands. The story will of course focus in on Batman, but they are pushing hard for a dramatic angle involving Bruce and everything his life entails.

Troy Baker will play Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham is Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette will play Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel is Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer is James Gordon, Richard McGonagle is Carmine Falcone, and Laura Baily is Selina Kyle. More cast members will be announced as the season progresses. The first episode will arrive later this year on PC, mobile, and consoles, with a Season Pass Disc available later this year, which includes all five episodes. I haven’t been jazzed about a Telltale release in a while, but the promise of more Batman has me intrigued.

Though as any Batman fan knows, there have been a lot of generic and wasted arcs through his lifetime (which permeate through film, TV, the comics, and games), so here’s hoping Telltale pulls it out.
