Dragon Quest Builders localization confirmed, actually includes Vita!

PS4 too

Poor, poor Vita. If only you hadn’t launched with awful proprietary expensive memory cards against the dirt cheap generic SD card support of the 3DS. Maybe we’d be looking at a different timeline, a less dark timeline, that involved I Am Setsuna not getting canceled on Vita in the west. But Square Enix (along with Atlus) is still semi-supporting the little thing that could, including the new Dragon Quest Builders localization that was just announced this morning.

Yep, the west will be able to pick up Builders this October on both the PS4 and the Vita, though the latter will only be available digitally — likely because no retailer wants to make the space for Vita. I once saw them strewn about, not on hooks, at Best Buy once. I poured out one of those sodas from the refrigerator for it. (Sorta) RIP Vita.
