Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV‘s massive Heavensward expansion will be released on June 23 (June 19 for pre-order access). When it arrives later this year it’ll ship with a new race, new jobs, another zone, and a level cap increase from 50 to 60.
Three jobs are in, including the Dark Knight (tank), Astrologian (healer), and Machinist (DPS). A new raid is also a go, focused on the Alexander summon, as are flying mounts.
