The hyped up Dark Souls mystery announcement today was…clothing

Yesterday, Namco Bandai tweeted out an ominous “big announcement” reveal for Dark Souls. Seemingly realizing that maybe raising expectations isn’t a great thing to do, it then tweeted “don’t worry, it’s not about the game.” Right after everyone speculated on a Scholar of the First Sin 60fps console remake of the original game. Well, it definitely isn’t.

The big announcement is…clothing! It’s a new clothing line, and not in fact anything excited or related to the possible Dark Souls board game we saw recently at GDC. One of the main pieces of clothing has a really, really bad design that looks like it was rejected from Hot Topic. You can see it in the galley below but I highly advise against it.
