Gears of War 4 hitting Xbox One on October 11 worldwide

Earlier this year we heard about a vague bump in Gears of War 4‘s release window, from holiday 2016 to fall 2016. Today we have some more specificity: Gears of War 4 is releasing on October 11 of this year.

For those unwilling and/or incapable of waiting seven months to chainsaw some monster people in half, a beta will be available to all Xbox Live members on April 25. Those who played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will have access even earlier, gaining entry to the beta on April 18.
