Friday Night Fights: Play videogames with other Dtoiders

Recommended Videos

Friday Night Fights has been a weekly event here at Destructoid for a while now, but as of late, it has gone unnoticed by everyone but a small group of faithful Dtoiders. We’re hoping that will all change tonight though, with the help of this post and everyone else who has done their part in the community blogs.

If you’re unfamiliar with Friday Night Fights, it’s exactly what it sounds like — a bunch of us get together over Xbox Live, PSN, etc. to play games against each other. The festivities usually start around 10:00 p.m. EST, but some of us like to jump online earlier than that.

Hit the jump to find out which games we’ll be playing and how you can participate.

Throughout the week we’ve voted for games via community blog posts, so here’s what we ended up with:

Xbox 360
Rainbow Six: Vegas
BioShock (play/talk about it in Ventrilo)
Gears of War
Burnout Revenge

Xbox Live Arcade
Bomberman Live
Texas Hold ‘em

PlayStation 3
Resistance: Fall of Man

Motorstorm

Nintendo DS
Clubhouse Games

Planet Puzzle League

If you want to play Xbox 360 with the rest of us, you should send a friend request to Snaileb (GT: Snaileb), Tazar (Tazar the yoot), dvddesign (Metalocalypse) or myself (warchiefgrim) so that we can invite you to the matches. It’s looking like the majority of us will start off with Rainbow 6: Vegas or Burnout Revenge, and eventually make our way over to Bomberman Live.

This post is meant to be a meeting place of sorts, so post your gamertag or online name, and which games (preferably from the list above) you want to play. Have fun!
