Wii one-off: China brings us the ‘Vii’

Recommended Videos

GoNintendo found images of what appears to be a Chinese knockoff of Nintendo’s Wii, brilliantly name the “Vii”. It looks like the creators of this system put the absolute minimum amount of work into the Vii, obviously copying the Wii’s design and control (I’ve got to play one of these). Hell, they didn’t even put effort into the name — they only dialed back the first letter one notch!

The Moto Sea title and Cooking Mama rip-off look line winners to me. Hit the jump to see two more pages of rip-offery.

Wow, talk about lazy! These guys have even taken Nintendo’s advertising model, clearly targeting older people and families with the Vii. I guess if you’re going to rip something off, you might as well go all the way.
