AMD’s Radeon Pro Duo dual-GPU may be the most powerful VR graphics card

$1,500, but who needs to pay rent, anyway?

There are two things holding my current PC back from being VR-ready: money, and my graphics card. AMD’s newest GPU will help with the second thing, at least.

During today’s presser at GDC, AMD announced their newest liquid-cooled dual-GPU, the Radeon Pro Duo. For $1,500, you’ll get 16 teraflops worth of performance, which I’m told is quite a large number of teraflops. The Pro Duo is meant to be the “world’s first VR content creator platform” to enable “high-end VR content development.” Time to start writing a ton of clickbait so I can build the VR machine of my dreams.
