The Unfinished Swan arrives on PS4, Vita next week

The Unfinished Swan is coming to PlayStation 4 and Vita next week, Sony revealed today.

The first-person puzzler will retail for $15/€13/£10 and supports cross-buy, meaning if you purchased the game before on PS3 you can go ahead and download it for free on the new platforms.

The Unfinished Swan tells a story about a boy who cases after a swan that escapes from an unfinished painting in his room, only to find himself in a surreal world.

The project started as a demo called “Whitespace,” which debuted at Tokyo Game Show in 2008. It was impressive enough to catch Sony’s eye, resulting in the creation of Giant Sparrow, who spent three years in SCE Santa Monica’s incubation program prior to seeing the game hatch unto PS3.

Today marks the two-year anniversary of The Unfinished Swan‘s launch. Time really flies! Hopefully the remastered versions allow a whole new audience to experience this hidden gem.
