Virtua Fighter 5 to come to U.S. arcades

Recommended Videos

Just when you thought that arcade gaming was dying, Arcade Heroes catches word that 3D fighter Virtua Fighter 5 will be coming to arcades in the United States, going head-to-head with the upcoming Tekken 6 from Namco.

Sega’s Virtua Fighter 5 is already available as a PS3 title, and it will soon be out for the Xbox 360, but this holiday season gamers can show off their moves in public when it hits arcades.  It is also reported that the cabinet will receive the same flat-screen high-definition monitor that the Japanese cabinet has.
