Shake it, baby: 3D Realms hopes to bring Duke Nukem to XBLA

In a recent chat thread over at Shacknews, 3D Realms’ George Broussard expressed interest in developing an Xbox 360 Live Arcade version of Duke Nukem … pending Microsoft’s approval.

“Truth be told, we’ve talked to Microsoft about it and have some people that would port it,” he wrote. “Just waiting on the good word from Microsoft to continue.”

Broussard refused further comment, but confirmed the accuracy of the statements with Shacknews. With Duke Nukem Forever seeming less and less like a reality as the industry’s collective high wears off, this might be the best chance fans have to cap a LARD officer in HD.
