TGS 2007: Zack & Wiki trailer makes me want to find more dramatic friends

Recommended Videos

My second favorite game at E3 this year was easily Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure for the Wii (next to the unbeatable Super Mario Galaxy) and, after seeing this new TGS trailer, I am not holding back my undying excitement for the game anymore. Nope, it’s official: I want this game bad. Really bad.

Not only does the art style and animation look amazing, but the game hearkens back to a time when point-and-click adventure games were all the rage. A time when collecting seemingly random items for use in solving clever puzzles was the norm. Ah, I miss those times so much.

I also have decided that, from here on out, I am going to react to all my Wii games like the people in this trailer. Oh my gosh, a snake! Eek! You solved that puzzle using that item! Wow! I love playing games as a group! Yay! *hugs* See? It just makes everything more enjoyable.
