Fortified is a base defense shooter inspired by 1950s science fiction

Those are some nice vintage robot designs

Admittedly, Fortified looks rough around the edges at this pre-alpha stage, but I’m liking the concept of a third-person shooter centered around base defense in a 1950s sci-fi setting.

You and up to three friends will throw down defensive structures, command army units, and shoot down clunky robots and UFOs to protect the city. Yes, I think this’ll be one to watch.

Up until now, Toronto-based studio Clapfoot has focused on mobile gaming but it’s bringing Fortified to PC and unspecified consoles. Glad to hear it.
