You can now remove games from your Steam account permanently

But why would you

If you’ve ever absolutely hated a game so much that you’ve wanted to remove it from your Steam account forever, and never look at it again, you can do that now.

Steam has just added the feature by way of its help site, and checking a few boxes will now delete games permanently. I can see why someone might do this (especially for annoying betas and the like that double-up with retail releases — I get that OCD urge sometimes), but I wish the “hide” feature had more functionality. Also, note that deleting games in a bundle may delete the entire bundle.

I’m paranoid of deleting something forever — it just highlights the fleeting nature of the digital era. This Dad (NSFW!) was the original “Steam Deleter” though.
