World of Tanks physical edition dated on Xbox 360

It’ll drop in August

World of Tanks has gone from a relatively unknown game to a worldwide phenomenon over the past few years, so it’s obvious that the demand for a console version led to the Xbox 360 Edition of the game this year.

Although the digital version of the game has been available since February, developer Wargaming is rolling out physical editions starting August 12th with extras. For $19.99 you can grab some exclusive items, including three days of premium game-time, 200,000 silver, 1500 in-game gold, a new tank, and a 30-day Gold voucher.

It’s cool that there are choices on consoles in terms of the free-to-play arena, but I still find it humorous that Microsoft hasn’t lifted the paid Xbox Gold requirement for these free games.
