Oakland formally lifts 80-year pinball ban

There’s a thing anyone who took a US government class in high school from an angry bald man should know: technology outpaces law. Not just technology. Advancement in general. Are Let’s Plays illegal? We can only hope. 

So Oakland is officially removing its ban on pinball machines, SF Gate reports, even though they have always been readily available and the ban left unenforced since World War II.

Apparently in San Francisco pinball is legal as long table owners have a permit from the entertainment commission. I wonder if the pinball machine I used to play on in that old Irish pub when I was a kid was a legal table. Or the video poker. Also, why was a 7 year old allowed to hang out in a bar, anyways?
