Sony hasn’t ruled out a PS4 and PS Vita bundle

‘Never say never’

Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PS Vita are the two devices it’s pushing the hardest right now. Thanks to the Remote Play functionality between them, they’re two products that serve different niches, but they act as companion devices. But, would Sony ever consider selling the PS4 and PS Vita together?

There’s definitely a possibility. Sony doesn’t have any plans that it’s willing to talk about, but head of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida told Polygon “Never say never.” Yoshida went on to cite the Bravia TV and PS3 bundle that Sony offered as an example that the company could be open to the idea.

Currently, the PS4 retails for $399 and the PS Vita sells for $199. International retailers have taken matters into their own hands already and packaged the two together as an unofficial bundle. While Sony hasn’t taken the initiative and done it yet, it still remains a prospect.
