Heads up to the four people who read Destructoid and own an Xbox 360 who do not  have it connected to Xbox Live: Bethesda Softworks have announced that Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles will finally be getting a retail disc!

The disc (which ships this October) will feature the same content that was available on Xbox Live months ago — 30 hours of new gameplay, including new items, new ingredients, spells, and more. To sweeten the deal, the retail disc will also include all of the Knights of the Nine content.

No word yet on Shivering Isles content hitting the PlayStation 3, but hang tight Bethesda’s Pete Hines assures Destructoid that they’re looking into it. Hines also reminded us that Prima will be releasing a new and updated Oblivion guide that will cover all content to date; the guide will span 496 pages.
