Super Time Force, Transistor, and now Hohokum — these next couple of months are going to be full of wonderful indie gems.
Everything about Hokohum just looks like it was designed for pure delight and fun. Artist Richard Hogg took to the PlayStation Blog where he said something I just have to highlight: “Today I was re-drawing some wonky hotdog-trees. They’re still pretty wonky but now it’s the right kind of wonky.”
The video here goes in detail behind the art style of Hohokum, featuring how Hogg came up with the art, the process behind it, and we see some early sketchbook drawings Hogg worked on too.
