Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is now out on iOS in Japan

You know, since it has controller support, I’m okay with this

This week Capcom released the iOS version of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and it doesn’t look half bad — if you have an MFi controller of course (the on-screen touch prompts look pretty nasty).

Why does it look decent, you ask? Well, it features hi-res visuals that actually look better than the PSP version as well as wifi online multiplayer and a reworked UI. It also has a target lock-on feature.

The prospect of playing it on a propped-up iPad or with HDMI out on the TV doesn’t sound awful.
