Live Show: Playing True Crime: Streets of LA

Looking back at games I once enjoyed

Recommended Videos

I got to thinking this weekend about what games I used to enjoy playing a lot, a bit of a nostalgia trip as it were. One game that would often pop up in my head is True Crime: Streets of LA.

At first glance the game may deceptively seem like another Grand Theft Auto clone, but if one were to delve deeper they would find a unique experience that blended multiple gameplay styles into a huge open-world game with a pretty fun and interesting story. As luck would have it friend of the channel, Skateallday101 found an Xbox copy at a local store, picked it up, and literally threw it at me demanding I play it again.

So if you have never heard of the original True Crime, are just curious what it is all about, or just want to be reminded how the game was, head on over to the live channel and check it out for yourself at 2 PST today, on Destructoid’s Attract Mode.
