Sony is going to let us vote on PS Plus games

Runners-up will be discounted

Each month, PlayStation Plus members can download and play select games for free across PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. Even the bad months aren’t so bad. Soon, we’ll have some say in what gets featured. Sony is preparing a new Vote to Play promo that will enable subscribers to “vote on one of several PlayStation 4 games for the upcoming month’s Instant Game Collection.”

“The game with the most votes will automatically be included in our future free game lineup for PlayStation Plus,” said SCEA’s John Koller. “If your pick didn’t make the lineup, don’t worry. In the first promotion, PlayStation Plus members can get the runner ups at a discount. We love to listen to our fans – and we’re super excited to launch this promotion.”

I get the feeling that certain people are setting themselves up for disappointment with wild wishlists. Still, some control over the lineup is better than no control. “We’ll have more details for you soon on when voting begins, what titles will be up for voting, and how you can cast your vote.”

If Knack shows up, please don’t vote for it.
