Not that it really matters

For your morning helping of news that makes no difference whatsoever, I present this announcement from Sega from this morning. Time to put your cool guy glasses on.

Remember when Sega Sammy bought Atlus parent company Index Holdings? That’s already enough names for confusion, right? But right before this all went down, Atlus started calling itself Index on the business side of things, right before the filed bankruptcy last year.

When Sega bought them up, they established a subsidiary and changed its name to Index Corporation. But as of April 1, Sega will have Index (Digital Media) renamed, now going with Atlus and Atlus USA. Fun fact: the Atlus division has 121 employees total.

To make this even more confusing (and thanks to Siliconera for spelling it all out), a newly formed Index Corporation *cough* will focus on development and distribution.

Atlus, now that you’re there and working, can you dig into that Valkyria Chronicles vault and do something?
