Splatoon gets a new weapon today, here are the details

Splash-o-matic!

Splatoon players have been painting the town for two weeks now, and have had a heck of a time doing so. Tonight, they get one more method with which to carry out their madness.

A tweet from Nintendo of America reveals that the Splash-o-matic is being added to Splatoon‘s arsenal. Nintendo says it’s a rapid-fire gun. The Splatoon wikia elaborates on that by stating that the Splash-o-matic does very low damage, and that its sub-weapon is Suction Bomb, its special is Bomb Rush, and that it functions “almost like a Splattershot Jr.”

This new armament goes live at 7pm Pacific today — prime time for that proverbial (and literal) town painting. And, just like any good bartender, Nintendo’s serving this round of ink on the house.
