New talent agency for freelance game industry professionals

ITM Creatives is the artistic branch International Talent Management, and they work to connect freelance professionals with the video game, film, and television industries and their new Web site launched today.

The site enables producers to search for and recruit talent for their projects, avoiding what the agency’s head, Max Meltzer, calls “unreasonable deals”.  He feels that artists and animators are within one of the most abused categories of the entertainment industry.

“This is a talent agency, not a recruitment agency, and we’re one of the first to primarily operate in the video games industry. The Web site is the base where ethical practices between games studios and talent come together.”

They charge a “low and appropriate” fee to the freelancers and charge no comission to the hiring company.

ITM’s clients have worked on videogames such as Heavenly Sword and the Command & Conquer series, as well as feature films such as King Kong, Spider-Man 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean. Television credits include the likes of Rome and Band of Brothers.
