Be careful with this Gran Turismo 6 money exploit

20 million credits

Recommended Videos

YouTube user Radical Dreamer has stumbled upon an exploit in Gran Turismo 6 that can generate 20 million credits in a matter of minutes. Sounds too good to be true, right? I had Dale test out the glitch and he ran into some major issues with freezing that required a hard reboot. Basically, if you choose to do this (instructions below), make sure you aren’t in the car you’re about to sell. Otherwise, GT6 will freeze every time you enter your garage.

  • Make sure you have the 1.01 patch and buy the Mercedes-Benz Concept from GT Vision
  • Save
  • Delete your GT6 game data under the Game Data Utility in XMB
  • Launch the game again — skip the patch-download prompt — and sell the car, which is now called “[2055]”

Should you inadvertently get into the same situation as Dale, you’ll need to repatch the game and change cars to get GT6 back to a functional state.
