Sup Holmes is super with combo man Justin Woodward

Get to know the people that make great videogames

This week on Sup Holmes we continue Adult Swimember with Justing Woodward of Interabang Entertainment. Justin’s worked in the industry for years, but it probably best known for Super Comboman, the 2D action platformer with beautiful hand-drawn artwork and an adherence to the violent, fluid, combat fundamentals that made games like Viewtiful Joe and Super Smash Bros. so great. The game made a huge splash at EVO this year, which bodes well for its future.

We’ll be taking to Justin about what drove the development Super Comboman, the risks of casting an adorable fat man as your protagonist, the pros and cons of Kickstarter, what it takes to keep 2D brawlers relevant in today’s market, and a lot more. Join us at 1pm PST/4pm EST for the whole show!
