Leading the charge was Grand Theft Auto 5, which shattered all single-day sales records with an $800 million dollar opening. Additionally, the report stated that physical game software accounted for $1.30 billion, while another $1.75 billion was spent on digital content (DLC, subscriptions, social, mobile, and full digital purchases). Used sales and rentals made up the remainder at $436 million.
