Housemarque is making a game with Robotron designer Eugene Jarvis

What a match

Designer Eugene Jarvis (Defender, Robotron: 2084, Smash TV, Cruis’n) and Housemarque (Super Stardust, Outland, Resogun) are collaborating on a game. Is this real life? It can’t be!

“When I saw Resogun I couldn’t believe how these Housemarque guys took Defender to a new level,” said Jarvis. “I wondered… what would happen if we teamed up? Mash up old school arcade with mad voxel tech and crazed nouveau Helsinki gamers… All I know now is that it is going to be explosive.”

There aren’t specifics about the project yet — details will drop in the coming months — but I just had to share this collaboration. I’d be ecstatic if we got a Robotron or Smash-style game.
