Sling TV launches today on basically every planned platform but the Xbox One

Still on track though

Sling TV is here for those of you who own a Roku player, Android or iOS device, or PC. For those of you who haven’t heard, it’s an online TV service for $20 a month (with packages), that provides you with a number of cable channels without requiring a cable subscription.

While the full channel lineup still needs a few more major players to really make a splash, the company has just announced today that AMC is joining the basic package “soon,” which is great news since The Walking Dead is still going strong, and Better Call Saul just debuted last night.

Amazon Fire TV/Stick and Xbox One support is said to arrive “in the coming months.” When that happens, I’ll provide a more comprehensive picture of whether or not it’s worth cutting the cord for — if you haven’t already.
