Just in case: Here’s a third party iPhone/iPad controller

Case. GameCase.

One cool tidbit out of iOS 7‘s release is its support for third party gaming controllers. Logitech teased one last week, but the GameCase is one you can look at with your eyes and probably heavily scrutinize.

It looks pretty standard and functional, so I guess I’ll turn my snide remarks towards its nice, but overly excited website and overly dramatic introduction video. I don’t know if this is the advent of “the next era in mobile gaming,” but a variety of third party controller options are a nice thing to have.

iPhone and iPad games that support controllers are also a nice thing to have. GameCase’s manufacturer is apparently working with developer to jump start controller support.
