Sony CEO Andrew House updated us on the Vita TV today during their TGS press conference, responding to questions from users and press since the announcement.

He says that the PS Vita TV is a very small box. It will fit in any living room.

You can receive video services, books, karaoke, and others on your large TV screen. That’s the thinking for the device. From the first day of launch there will be over 1,300 titles available as well as Vita updates to the system. What titles? We’re not sure yet, but that’s a pretty nice number.

Sony are targeting fans of Playstation but casual users and families as well. They look to win over newcomers with its low price (about $99).

Sony says that they will be making announcements at a later date for cloud services for PlayStation TV.
