Ms. Splosion Man iOS is on sale, also drops an update

Twisted Pixel has announced that an update is live for Ms. Splosion Man on iOS, offering up cross-device save support, an improved in-game economy, an updated UI, and bug fixes. Additionally, the game will be on sale for $0.99 for a limited time.

If you were wondering whether or not to pick this up, it’s actually not a horrible deal for $0.99 if you can cope with the fairly horrid mictrotransaction system that’s in place. If they were eliminated entirely it would be an instant recommendation, because the controls actually work quite well — which is a bit of a shame.
